TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper has secured the second-highest office rental rate in Xinyi District for 2023. The Ministry of the Interior's Real Estate Information Platform reports that the monthly rent for the 69th floor is a staggering NT＄4,803 per ping.
Cathay Landmark leads the district with the highest rental rate, where an office space on the 38th floor is priced at about NT＄4,830 per ping each month.
According to the data, only two rental rates for Taipei 101 were disclosed between January and November 2023. Alongside the September announcement of the 69th floor's rent, the rental price for the 28th floor was released in April, costing approximately NT＄4,251 per ping per month.
Real estate analysts, observing rental trends over the past few years, indicate that rents for lower floors in Taipei 101 start at NT＄4,000 per ping. Notably, in 2021, the rent for the 80th floor began at NT＄5,000 per ping.
