TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Thousands of fans queued up early in Xinyi District on Friday morning (Aug. 4) to meet their idol Lee Junho.

Lee is best known for his membership in the South Korean boy band 2PM, and his popularity has soared to new heights due to his lead role in the Netflix series "Land the King."

Lee arrived at Xingyi at 10 a.m. on Friday for an Adidas event. The event was initially scheduled for Thursday but was postponed to Friday due to the disruption caused by Typhoon Khanun.

It has been 11 years since Lee last visited Taiwan, and as a result, a massive crowd of over 1,000 fans gathered early to catch a glimpse of their idol.

The earliest fans started queuing at the event venue at 5:30 a.m. Multiple police officers were dispatched to maintain order, highlighting Lee's extraordinary popularity.
