TAIPEI (TVBS News) — NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang shared the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and its importance Monday (May 29) at COMPUTEX 2023 in Taipei, attracting thousands to the event.
During his speech, the Taiwanese American demonstrated groundbreaking generative AI capabilities, paving the way for the future of technology.
Huang points out that with AI, "we are in a new computing era. [...] [and it] is special in several ways," as it can impact every industry, and the programming barrier is low.
"Everyone is a programmer now. You just have to say something to the computer," he said.
He asked Voicemod to write a song after giving it texts. Voicemod then sings in melody, "I am here at Computex, I will make you like me best, yeah Sing sing it with me. I really like NVIDIA."
Huang also highlights the fast-growing generative AI startups in different domains, such as language, media, and biology, "one of the most important areas that we care about."
Huang also showcased many of the new products NVIDIA made, showing that NVIDIA is turning into an AI hardware company.
Formosa Plastics Group Chairman Wong Wen-yuan, Powerchip Chairman Huang Chong-ren, Wistron Vice Chairman Huang Po-fu, and Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua were also at the event.
