SIMI VALLEY (TVBS News) — Chinese protesters took to the skies with a banner attached to a plane to voice their displeasure with the meeting of Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen and U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Wednesday (April 5).

Protesters also voiced their support or opposition to the meeting outside the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

In the sea of Five-star Red Flags, the Star-Spangled Banners, and the Taiwan National flags, overseas Taiwanese and Chinese almost went into a fight.

Some shouted, "Fight the communist bandits," The other side responded, "Renuify China, protest against Taiwan's independence."
