TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A Democratic Progressive Party Taipei City Councilor accidentally called President Tsai Ing-wen the "Michelin's Bib Gourmand Top 100 Influential Woman" on Friday at a pro-Taiwan event.
"Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen is the Michelin's Bib Gourmand Top 100 Influential Woman," Yen Jo-fang said.
President Tsai stressed that when facing threats from across the Taiwan Strait, the Taiwanese show confidence and calmness.
"Over the past few years, the global assessment of Tsai Ing-wen has not just been about me, but the collective pride of the Taiwanese people."
Tsai ranked ninth on Forbes Magazine's World's Most Powerful Women in 2021.
