TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen encouraged people to read more books at the opening ceremony of the Taipei International Book Exhibition on Tuesday (Jan. 31).
As a book lover, she used to read a lot. But after becoming president, she couldn't find the time to read books, and those people gifted her, she explained.
"So I want to say that those who possess the freedom and leisure to attend book fairs and complete reading a book are indeed fortunate," Tsai said.
