KAOHSIUNG (TVBS News) — More than 1,200 people competed at the Taiwan Power Corporation 55th Skills Competition in Kaohsiung on Wednesday (Jan. 11), including a former EVA Air flight attendant.
The Taiwan Power Corporation skills competition is nicknamed Taiwan's "Olympic Games," where the employees compete on their skills.
Tsai Shan-ni, who caught people's attention, was an EVA air flight attendant for three years.
She carried around 10 kilograms of equipment and climbed a ten-meter-high electric pole to work for the competition.
Tsai left EVA Air for health reasons two years ago and joined Taiwan Power Corporation with her sister. She said the job is making her healthier and giving her more time to spend with her family.
