CHANGHUA (TVBS News) — A guest house in central Taiwan was destroyed by fire on Tuesday (Nov. 15). Local officials are investigating the cause, but they say no one was hurt during this incident.
The wooden house is a guesthouse that belongs to Chuang Wen-yang (莊文陽), founder of a famous Chinese cosmetics company TJOY (丁家宜), who was not in Taiwan at the time of the incident.
The fire burned across 200 square meters, leaving nothing in its path. Firefighters extinguished it after an hour.
Changhua Government officials are looking into whether the building was illegally built, according to media reports.
