SINGAPORE (TVBS News) - Taiwan and Hollywood's hottest stars were in attendance at this year's Asia summit in Singapore.

"Hi TVBS, this is JJ Lin. Really good to be here," said singer and entrepreneur JJ Lin.

Actor, entrepreneur Chen Bolin added: "We've always wanted to understand more about the current trends, topics on technology, on energy, and what the future development will be like. Our company creates content, so I need to pay attention to what is happening, and what is about to happen in the world, and the direction. I was invited by some friends, and a lot of friends are also here to attend the Asia Summit.”

As it seems that Asians in the entertainment industry are now taking over the world, Henry Golding shared his hopes for the future when it comes to Asia-related content.

"There is so much value in promoting your ethnicity in terms of, this is the next big Asian film, and everybody has to watch, and that's what we sort of want to rally for. I think it's going to be a long time of fighting, swimming upstream, where it becomes just a movie that everyone should watch," said actor Henry Golding.

Henry also revealed that he almost turned down the role that shot him into Hollywood super stardom.

"It took three sort of nos for John M. Chu to get a hold of me. He was kind of perplexed that why would somebody not audition for this? And I was like, well, I'm not an actor. I was a presenter, I was a journalist, I was a storyteller in that sort of sense, and for me, it was a step into the unknown, but it really did pay off," said Henry Golding.

And not just movies and music, Asian style match making is also stirring up a buzz on TV.

Match maker Sima shared with guests at the Asia Summit her secrets when it comes to a match made in heaven. "You have to have patience, make little adjustments, little compromise, and appreciate each other. Partners you appreciate each other, then the life will go smoothly," said matchmaker Sima Taparia.

From reality shows, movies to music, more content from Asian creatives continue to be rolled out. What are some of your favorites!
