SINGAPORE (TVBS News) – The Milken Institute is set to host its Asia Summit in Singapore from Sept. 28 to 30. The three-day event will bring together policymakers, business leaders and financiers to discuss the most pressing issues in the region.

Topics on the agenda include innovation, medical philanthropy, financial inclusion and infrastructure development. This year's summit is particularly timely as economies across Asia are facing headwinds from economic inequalities, a slowdown in global growth and concerns about climate change.

"This year's Milken Institute Asia Summit will focus on how businesses and governments can adapt in this transformative era," said Yeen Chong from communications and media at Milken Institute Asia Center.

"We have sessions ranging from creative economy to leading in a tranforming world, we also have sessions focusing on articifial intelligence," he added.

Also in attendance, Sony Group Corporation Senior Executive Vice President Hiraoki Kitano, Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam of Singapore, and Temasek Chief Investment Officer Rohit Sipahimalani will give participants an insight into their field of expertise.
