TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an on Monday (Nov. 13) urged the Farglory Group to enhance the signage from the entrance to the Taipei Dome stadium, emphasizing the completion of a full-capacity test for the Dome within a year.

The focal point of a recent council report was the upcoming test game at the Taipei Dome, scheduled for Nov. 18.

Democratic Progressive Party City Councilor Chen Yi-chun highlighted the issue of inadequate signage leading to the stadium and pointed out the narrowness and lack of reflective warning signs in the Dome's underground parking lot.

In response, Chiang stated that the city government would request immediate improvements from Farglory.

Concerns were also raised by Taipei City Councilors Lin Liang-jyun and Chien Shu-pei about the venue's capacity for crowd dispersal and overall safety measures.

Referencing the crowd dispersal following the Coldplay concert in Kaohsiung the previous weekend, Lin inquired about the estimated time required to evacuate the expected 13,000 attendees from the test event at the Taipei Dome.

Taipei MRT officials, drawing on their experience in handling New Year's Eve crowds, assured the city council that it could take approximately half an hour to evacuate the visitors.
