TAIPEI (TVBS News) — An interplay of northeastern winds and atmospheric moisture resulted in occasional showers across Taiwan on Wednesday (Sept. 27).
Meteorologists predict heated convection during the afternoon may cause localized thundershowers.
Despite this, coastal regions from Taoyuan to Changhua will likely experience relatively stable weather, with temperatures between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius.
Southern Taiwan could offer better conditions for moon viewing during the Mid-Autumn Festival, as heated convection cloud systems are forecasted to disperse more quickly as the evening progresses.
