TAIPEI (TVBS News) — More and more stores are opening up to sell takeaway beverages in Taiwan.
In 2022, there were 27,509 beverage stores in Taiwan, up from 14,282 in 2021.
These stores generated NT＄92.4B in sales in 2021, up from NT＄54.6 billion in 2011. It is estimated that the stores will make over NT＄100 billion in 2022.
From January to October 2022, local drink lovers spent NT＄88.9 billion on drinks to go.
