TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Saturday night's sky was lit with a rainbow of adventure when OPEN-Chan, the 7-ELEVEN mascot dog from space outfitted in his signature hat and full of dreams, said goodbye to Kaohsiung.
The brave doggie set off on an exciting 13-kilometer journey from "OPEN Big Balloon! Dream World" parade and concert thanks to some unanticipated help from gusty winds that snapped its ties to Earth.
Sadly though, this balloon ride ended more like Wile E Coyote than Paddington Bear as the daredevil pet eventually burst through thin air due to temperature fluxes and pressure differences.
Still, one can only imagine what fantastical sights must have been seen during that incredible journey up high in the night sky.
