TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The temperature in Taipei dipped to 7 degrees Celsius over the weekend, meaning that the wild animals in the Taipei zoo also suffered from the cold spell.
The Taipei Zoo has reportedly tried to keep its animals warm amid concerns for their health.
According to Taipei Zoo officials, outdoor exhibits are equipped with heaters to keep the animals warm.
They also provide hot ginger tea and gunny sacks as blankets to orangutans and great gibbons.
