伊朗港口城市「阿巴斯港」（Bandar Abbas）於週六發生大規模爆炸與火災，霍爾木茲甘省災害應變主管哈桑扎德（Mehrdad Hasanzadeh）向伊朗國家電視台表示，爆炸已造成多起傷亡，截至目前為止，已知至少有300人以上受傷，估計人數還將會持續增加。哈桑扎德指出，爆炸第一時間已有救援人員趕赴現場，並展開疏散行動。
《美聯社》報導，哈桑扎德說明，爆炸起因於「拉賈伊港」（Rajaei Port）內的貨櫃。根據「X」流出的影片，可以看到現場冒出巨大黑煙。拉賈伊港是該地區主要的貨櫃處理中心，同時也設有油罐與其他石化設施。
據悉，該港口佔伊朗非石油貨物進出口總量的55%以上，同時還承擔伊朗85%以上的貨櫃裝卸任務，當局正在釐清爆炸原因，而根據現場人員表示，緊急救援人員已經抵達現場，但港口仍然處於混亂狀態，現場有許多建築物遭到嚴重損壞。
