TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan's Tourism Administration (觀光署), the government's tourism promotion agency, launched a 70% discount package for "Taiwan Tour Bus" (台灣觀巴) services at the TTE Taipei International Travel Fair (TTE台北國際觀光博覽會) earlier this year. The promotion covers travel activities across multiple counties and includes giveaways to attract domestic travelers.
Chen Po-hsun (陳柏勳), chairman of Taiwan Tour Bus, explained the package covers more than 89 travel routes with a special offer allowing one person to travel free with every two bookings. Chen remarked this provides real savings to the public during the promotional period. The company organized a flash mob at the fair, drawing large crowds and showcasing small group tours that accommodate just two to four participants.
The seasonal 70% discount continues until Oct. 31, initially covering Miaoli, Taichung, Nantou, and Penghu counties until June 2025. From July to October 2025, the promotion extends to Keelung, Yilan, Hsinchu County and City, Yunlin, Chiayi County and City, Tainan, Taitung, and Kinmen. Three major fair activities feature lucky draws encouraging travelers to explore domestic travel itineraries. ◼
