TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Fubon Braves (富邦勇士) announced Friday (Sept. 12) that South Korean cheerleading icon Lee Ah-Young (李雅英) has joined the team. Fans will meet her at the Heping Basketball Gymnasium (和平籃球館). This move follows her departure from the Leopard Girls (電豹女) cheerleading squad, where she posted a farewell message a day earlier.
Since 2024, Lee has energetically supported the Fubon Angels, becoming a familiar face in the Fubon sports community. Her dual involvement in both basketball and baseball under the Fubon system highlights her versatility and dedication. The Fubon Braves' official statement emphasized that Lee will cheer passionately for the team, amplifying their spirit and enthusiasm.
Lee assured her fans she is committed to engaging with them at the Heping Basketball Gymnasium, and with supporters, she aims to demonstrate her appreciation for their unwavering support. The professional basketball team TPBL Leopards announced on Sept. 11 that Lee will officially leave the team. The team thanked Lee for her two consecutive seasons of outstanding dance performances at home games, her energetic sideline cheering, and her vibrant pre-game and post-game activities.
