TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Rumors of discord swirled through Taiwan's professional baseball community after Fubon Guardians (富邦悍將) cheerleader Lee Ju-eun (李珠珢) was said to have abruptly withdrawn from a scheduled pre-game performance. The alleged reason: displeasure with guest performer Winnie from the popular Taiwanese variety show "Muyao 4 Super Playing" (木曜4超玩). Team officials from the Guardians, one of Taiwan's premier CPBL baseball franchises, swiftly issued a denial Monday (May 12), insisting no such incident took place.

Fellow performer Lee Ah-young (李雅英), who also belongs to the Leopard Girls (電豹女), the cheerleading squad that performs at Guardians home games, offered her perspective during an appearance at a Langlive (浪直播) livestreaming platform event Tuesday. Lee claimed ignorance of any controversy involving her colleague, whose name appeared inconsistently in reports as both Lee Ju-eun and Lee Joo-yeon, and explained that the squad typically coordinates all performance logistics through a dedicated group messaging channel.

During the same event, Lee Ah-young and fellow Leopard Girls member Hyeri (海莉), both recognized for their photogenic appeal, shifted the conversation toward their family relationships. Lee disclosed her practice of daily parental communication and mentioned giving her mother a traditional red envelope containing money for Parents' Day, a significant holiday in South Korea. Hyeri similarly emphasized maintaining strong family bonds despite geographical separation through regular video calls with her family back home.  ★
