TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Ten Drum Cultural Village (十鼓文創園區) in Tainan's Rende District will host the "2025 Magic Forest Market" (2025魔法屾林市), Taiwan's first immersive magical market, on Feb. 8, 9, 14, 15, and 16. Organizers aim to transform the former sugar town into a vibrant cultural hub, drawing inspiration from the Harry Potter film series to captivate visitors.
The market will feature seven themed areas, including the Elf Village, Magic Factory, and Dark Forest, offering a unique experience for attendees. The highlight, the Black Horn Magic Auction (黑角域魔法拍賣會), will showcase magical artifacts such as the "Ancient Nautical Map" (遠古航海圖), promising an enchanting atmosphere for collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Visitors can enjoy free entry to the market with the purchase of a Ten Drum Cultural Village ticket. On-site tickets cost NT$489, while online early bird tickets are available for NT$449 until Feb. 16.
The Magic Town opens from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the market operates from 2 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 326 Wenhua Road, Section 2, Rende District, Tainan City. This magical event promises to be a spellbinding experience for all ages, offering a unique blend of culture and fantasy.
