TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Finance (MOF, 財政部) on Wednesday (Dec. 25) urged winners of the four special prize lottery tickets from July to August 2024 to claim their prizes before Jan. 6, 2025. If left unclaimed, the NT$10 million prize money will be confiscated.

The MOF issued an announcement to encourage winners to claim their rewards promptly to avoid missing out on the significant prize. The unclaimed tickets involve purchases such as bubble tea, Shopee (蝦皮) shopping, parking fees, and supermarket beverages.

Specifically, the transactions include NT$200 spent on food in Taipei's Xinyi District (信義區), NT$99 on drinks at a fresh food supermarket in Taoyuan's Daxi District (大溪區), NT$100 on parking fees in Chiayi City (嘉義市), and NT$135 on a drink from White Alley in Kaohsiung's Fengshan District (鳳山區).

Winners must bring their national ID (or passport, residence permit, or entry/exit permit for non-citizens) and the winning lottery ticket to claim their prize. The MOF reminded winners to adhere to the designated redemption hours announced by the prize distribution agency.
