TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL, 中職聯盟) commissioner Tsai Chi-chang (蔡其昌) announced plans on Friday (Dec. 6) for continued reprints of the latest issue of the "Professional Baseball" (職棒雜誌) magazine to meet the surging demand.
Taiwan's recent victory in the WBSC Premier 12 tournament has sparked a baseball frenzy across the nation. The magazine's special edition, featuring player highlights and three collectible posters, sold out immediately upon its release a day earlier.
During an interview at the Legislative Yuan, Tsai assured fans that the league remains committed to printing additional copies. He explained that the league initially printed 100,000 copies and would continue to print more if necessary.
Tsai expressed concerns about potential losses if too many copies remain unsold. To prevent scalping, he urged fans to avoid purchasing from unauthorized sellers.
