TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Control Yuan (監察院) on Tuesday (Nov. 26) released the asset declaration of Minister of Economic Affairs J.W. Kuo (郭智輝), revealing NT$108.36 million in deposits. Kuo's total assets, including securities and credits, exceed NT$300 million.
Kuo's financial holdings consist of NT$108.36 million in deposits, securities valued at NT$98.61518 million, and golf club memberships worth NT$6.5 million. Also, he holds employee stock trust and loans amounting to NT$80.025291 million, along with NT$1.8 million in business investments.
Kuo's portfolio also includes seven plots of land and nine buildings in Taipei City's Xinyi District (信義區) and Pingtung County (屏東縣). His 2,000 shares of Topco Scientific (崇越科技) were placed in trust on Dec. 22, 2023.
Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim (蕭美琴) disclosed ownership of one plot of land and seven buildings in New Taipei City's Yonghe District (永和區), along with a trust containing one plot and three buildings in Hualien County (花蓮縣). Her financial report lists NT$15.249925 million in deposits, securities valued at NT$4.567235 million, and NT$1.555801 million in mortgage debt.
Vice Premier Cheng Li-chiun (鄭麗君) and spouse Shen Hsueh-jung (沈學榮) declared NT$25.676717 million in deposits, NT$240 million in credits, NT$153 million in debts, and NT$400.975 million in business investments. They have domestic listed stocks in trust worth NT$371.7 million.
