TAIPEI (TVBS News) — McDonald's (麥當勞) launched its McGriddles sausage burgers in Taiwan on Wednesday (Nov. 13), drawing large crowds to various outlets. Customers flocked to stores, eager to try the limited-time breakfast offering available until Dec. 17 or while supplies last.
TVBS News (TVBS新聞網) observed long lines at the Guangfu South Road (光復南路) location in Taipei, with both self-service kiosks and counters bustling with activity. Meanwhile, a reader reported approximately 26 people waiting in line at the Songshan Station (松山車站) branch.
Expressing gratitude for the support, McDonald's confirmed the sellouts and assured customers that restocking is underway to resume supply once shipments arrive. The McGriddles, available only during breakfast hours, has quickly become a sought-after item among Taiwanese consumers.
The overwhelming demand led to some restaurants temporarily selling out of the McGriddles. McDonald's is working diligently to meet the demand. Customers can expect replenished stock soon, allowing more people to enjoy the popular breakfast treat.
