NANTOU (TVBS News) — Fleur de Chine Hotel Sun Moon Lake (雲品溫泉酒店) announced plans on Monday (Sept. 23) for a major recruitment fair to take place on Oct. 9, aiming to fill 40 positions.
The hotel's press release lists openings for restaurant managers, front desk supervisors, customer service representatives, reservation specialists, housekeeping staff, activity instructors, lifeguards, and restaurant chefs.
The positions range from management roles to entry-level jobs, and the hotel will welcome both returning workers and recent graduates.
The hotel stated that after trialing a three-day weekend policy in September, it received more job applications than usual. To meet the staffing needs for the new scheduling policy, it will host a recruitment fair within the hotel.
Sheng Chih-jen (盛治仁), chairman of the hotel group, explained that the three-day weekend policy allows employees to enjoy 52 extra days off annually without a reduction in salary.
Sheng underscored that employees are not required to take an additional day off within a seven-day period. This flexibility enables staff to take up to five consecutive days off, facilitating travel or further skill development.
