TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Apple fans eagerly await the upcoming 2024 Apple Fall Event, themed "It’s Glowtime," scheduled for 1 a.m. next Tuesday (Sept. 10) Taiwan time. Apple plans to unveil the iPhone 16, three new Apple Watch models, and two versions of AirPods 4, generating significant anticipation.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will feature an action button and a capture button, powered by the A18 chip. These models will include vertically aligned rear cameras capable of shooting spatial videos and will come in blue, green, pink, white, and black colors.
The iPhone 16 Pro series will see size increases, with the iPhone 16 Pro growing from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches and the iPhone 16 Pro Max from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. Both will use the A18 Pro chip and feature a capture button on the power key side. Color options will include black titanium, natural titanium, white titanium, and a rumored new desert titanium.
According to Bloomberg, the event will also introduce the AirPods 4 and AirPods Lite series, which will replace the current second-and-third-generation AirPods. The new designs aim to improve ear comfort and will feature USB-C charging cases.
Apple Watch 10, also known as Apple Watch X, and Apple Watch Ultra 3 may also debut. The Apple Watch 10 will likely see multiple upgrades, including enhanced chip performance, increased screen sizes of 45mm and 49mm, and more competitive pricing, the leading Apple-related news website "9to5Mac" reported.
