TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Lee Yang (李洋), a gold medalist at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, celebrated his 29th birthday on Monday (Aug. 12), describing this year as particularly meaningful.
On his birthday, Lee expressed his desire to do something significant. He invited everyone to show compassion by helping 16 disadvantaged groups, including children, the elderly, and patients with illnesses.
Lee posted on Facebook, thanking everyone for their support and encouragement, which enabled him to win another Olympic gold for Taiwan before retiring from his athletic career.
He also shared that he and his girlfriend had a wonderful time in Japan and appreciated the blessings from all quarters.
