TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Former Health Minister Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) stepped into his new role as a member of the Executive Yuan on Monday (May 20), announcing his participation in the "active and innovative (AI) Cabinet" and warmly greeting everyone with "Hello, long time no see!"
Chen expressed his gratitude towards President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) and Premier Cho Jung-tai (卓榮泰) for the opportunity to continue contributing to Taiwan's future.
Chen's commitment to Taiwan's progress was evident as he voiced his belief in the dedication of President Lai, Premier Cho, and all team members who took the oath, to exert every effort for Taiwan's rapid advancement.
He called upon the public to look towards the future, urging support and encouragement for the new administrative team to safeguard and care for their beloved country.
"Let's work together and cheer for Taiwan! Thank you!" Chen said, encapsulating his message of unity and progress.
