TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Minister of Labor, Hsu Ming-chun, stated on Monday (April 29) that the second consultation meeting for the memorandum of understanding (MOU) on labor cooperation with India is anticipated to take place this week, with an emphasis on open industries and personnel introduction.
The minister added that the meeting would invite employers, migrant workers, and associations familiar with Indian affairs, including experts, scholars, businesspeople, and enterprises, to provide opinions. The conclusions will serve as a reference for future working-level meetings with the Executive Yuan.
Hsu addressed the first consultation meeting held on March 1, which focused on understanding India's religion, culture, and society, with participation from experts, scholars, and relevant departments.
The Ministry of Labor promised to continue to use consultation meetings as a platform for dialogue with all sectors, to clarify any misunderstandings about India and collect information on topics of concern.
