TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Vice President Lai Ching-te (賴清德) visited China Steel Corporation (中國鋼鐵公司) in Kaohsiung Friday (April 26), aiming to delve into the company's ambitious strides toward net-zero carbon emissions.
This move underscores the firm's pivotal role in spearheading industry innovation and its substantial contributions to Taiwan's economic prowess. During his visit, Lai was briefed by General Manager Wang Hsi-Chin (王錫欽) on the operational insights and future blueprints of China Steel Corporation. This dialogue highlighted the critical need for synergy between the government and the industrial sector to foster national advancement.
