TAIPEI (TVBS News) — As internationally acclaimed action star Jackie Chan approaches his 70th birthday in April, he has shocked fans with his appearance, sporting white hair and noticeable signs of aging, in social media photos posted on Wednesday (March 13).
Recently attending an event in Sichuan, Chan dressed all in black, exhibiting signs of rapid aging. Yet, despite this, he maintained a vibrant demeanor and spirit.
Some film bloggers have suggested that Chan's current appearance is in preparation for his upcoming role in the film 'Mo Sheng Jia Ting' (陌生家庭), which focuses on Alzheimer's disease.
In the movie, Chan portrays a lonely elderly man suffering from Alzheimer's who mistakenly identifies his son but helps him fulfill his dreams, creating a heartwarming comedy.
Chan has starred in numerous action films over a career spanning more than six decades. Even as he ages, Chan maintains his professionalism, appearing in at least one film every year.
Chan was once honored with the Academy Honorary Award. His film 'Rush Hour' achieved commercial success in the United States, making him one of the few successful Chinese actors in Hollywood.
