TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The National Communications Commission (NCC) on March 11 presented a business overview report to the Transportation Committee of the Legislative Yuan. However, this report came under fire from Taiwan People's Party (TPP) Legislator Huang Kuo-chang.

On March 9, Huang criticized the 29-page NCC report, claiming that over 9,300 words were a carbon copy of last year's content.

The TPP held a press conference in the morning. The party proposed rejecting the NCC's written report submitted to the Legislative Yuan and further suggested forming a special investigation team for the "Mirror TV Application and Subsequent Malpractices Controversy."

The party cast suspicion upon the NCC Chairman, Chen Yaw-shyang, alleging his influence has hindered the resolution of this ongoing dispute. Although the Mirror TV license has been approved, the related legal disputes continue to grow.

The TPP believes Chen has repeatedly avoided questions during questioning sessions at the Legislative Yuan. The chairman has been accused of showing contempt for the assembly and failing to fulfill his regulatory duties.
