TAIPEI (TVBS News) — National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) topped the list in a job bank survey released on Tuesday (Feb. 27), revealing the ranking of businesses' favorite universities.
National Taiwan University (NTU) and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University claimed second and third places respectively, according to 1111 Job Bank.
As for private institutions, Tamkang University, Fu Jen Catholic University, and Tunghai University continued to occupy the top three spots, the survey showed.
Vivi Huang, a spokesperson for 1111 Job Bank, noted the leading institutions underscored the integration of digital skills and various industry disciplines.
Using NTU as an example, Huang highlighted its broadening academic horizons with plans to establish new journalism or communication departments.
"Companies highly regard top science and engineering universities as well as comprehensive universities nurturing diverse talent," Huang stated, examining the ranks.
Aside from the top three, the overall top 10 list includes: National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Tsing Hua University, National Central University, National Chengchi University, National Taiwan Normal University, Tamkang University, and National Chung Cheng University.
