TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Ministry of Labor (MOL) announced on Wednesday (Feb. 21) that it will begin accepting applications on March 1 for the first half of 2024 for displaced women's re-employment, which carries a subsidy of NT$30,000.
The MOL has unveiled incentives aimed at helping women return to the workplace by enabling them to plan and participate in professional skill enhancement training programs.
Encouraging all eligible women to apply, the labor ministry stated that applications will be accepted from March 1 through May 31.
Since June 2015, the ministry has focused on re-employing women who have been out of the labor market for over two years due to household responsibilities. These women are provided with comprehensive employment services from dedicated professionals.
In 2023, the ministry assisted more than 303,051 female job seekers in finding employment, including helping 20,068 women seeking re-employment.
The MOL's Workforce Development Agency will host an online information session next Thursday, where it will explain the application process. The registration link for the seminar is https://pse.is/5kltb3.
