TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan is expected to bask in mainly fair to partly cloudy skies on Monday (Feb. 19), with warm daytime highs ranging from 27 to 31 degrees Celsius, however, temperature differences between day and night is anticipated.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, weather across Taiwan will generally be fair to partly cloudy, with the eastern half of the country and the Hengchun Peninsula experiencing scattered, brief showers.
By Thursday, as the front moves across and the northeasterly monsoon strengthens, the weather in the northern and northeastern regions will gradually turn cooler.
Short showers are also anticipated in parts of northern and eastern Taiwan as well as in mountainous areas of central and southern regions on Thursday, while the rest of the country is likely to enjoy partly cloudy to clear skies.
The cooling trend, influenced by the northeast monsoon, is expected to be observed from Friday till Sunday in the northern and northeastern parts of Taiwan.
