TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Yangminshan Flower Festival, spanning 40 days from Feb. 7 to March 17, offers an enticing Lunar New Year holiday destination for visitors.
Featuring a diverse array of cherry blossoms, including mountain cherry, yae sakura, and showa sakura, the festival promises a scenic spectacle atop the mountain.
Traffic control measures will be enforced on 17 days throughout the festival period, starting from Feb. 8 and ending on March 17.
In light of limited parking availability on Yangminshan, Taipei City Mayor Chiang Wan-an advocates for the use of public transportation options such as the Taipei MRT, buses, and shuttles for festival-goers.
