HUALIEN (TVBS News) — In the heart of Huadong Valley, beneath the iconic "Kecheng Iron Bridge" in Yuli Township, Taiwan welcomes its newest attraction in 2024: "Taiwan Totem." This breathtaking spectacle, set amidst the canola flower fields, comes to life around the lunar new year in February 2024.

Retired railroad station master Huang Hsi-chuan is the creative force behind this mesmerizing landscape. Single-handedly leasing the land and tending to the seeds, he dedicated two to three hours daily to its meticulous upkeep. Visitors can admire the view from a 45-degree angle beside the field or from the bridge's highest point.

The captivating synergy of "Taiwan Totem" and Kecheng Iron Bridge has struck a chord with visitors, turning the locale into a magnet for tourists and photography enthusiasts seeking to capture its stunning beauty.

Huang is optimistic that the canola flowers will bloom just before the Lunar New Year, inviting residents to embrace the Spring Festival holiday amidst this picturesque setting and usher in the new year amid the vibrant canola fields.

The scenic beauty of "Taiwan Totem" and the Iron Bridge in Yuli, Hualien, awaits all who yearn to behold its splendor.
