TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation (THSRC) announced on Wednesday (Jan. 31) that it plans to recruit more than 100 new talents shortly.
The generous offers, for instance, an electrical and signal maintenance technician could receive a monthly salary of up to NT＄48,000 (including allowances for shift work) following successful training.
This year, the corporation's main recruitment targets are about 80 maintenance technicians and engineers with backgrounds in electricity, electronics, machinery, signaling, communications, vehicles, tracks, and electromechanics.
In addition to that, around 25 professionals in core electromechanics, civil engineering, project management, system development, and other fields will be hired. The company is also targeting professionals for recruitment in areas like traffic control, business planning, and financial accounting.
The corporation provides comprehensive employee benefits, including allowances and subsidies for food, clothing, accommodation, transportation, education, and entertainment. As well as communal meals, breakfasts, and late-night snacks for night shift staff, free uniforms, official dormitories, and travel subsidies.
Based on the company's business performance, it will consider giving employees raises or bonuses.
The corporation said new employees will undergo three to six months of comprehensive training and they will have to pass an assessment before officially starting their shifts.
The THSRC said it continues to provide employees with comprehensive educational training opportunities, such as power, signaling, track, tram line, and other classes which allow employees to complete professional training safely, effectively, and precisely in an environment that replicates 100% of the high-speed rail.
