TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese singer Yoga Lin surprised his fans with an impromptu farewell following the last of three performances of his "idol" world tour at the Taipei Arena on Sunday (Dec. 17).
After the concert, Lin wore a paper bag mask with "yy" branding and made his way to the arena's service counter, where he sang to fans through a megaphone in an impromptu flash mob.
Wearing a silver tunic, Lin was guided by staff to the counter, playfully asking with a megaphone, "Did anyone notice me? If so, crouch down so others can see."
Fulfilling live song requests, Lin performed hits like "Linger On," "You Are What You Eat," and "Flight" before saying goodbye. While wearing the paper bag, Lin humorously claimed he sounded quite similar to Yoga Lin, generating laughter from the crowd.
This unexpected stunt thrilled fans, providing a memorable conclusion to Lin's tour.
As a singer-songwriter, Yoga Lin has been captivating audiences since 2008 with his unique blend of traditional Chinese and modern Western music.
Lin's journey to musical stardom began when he emerged as the winner of Season 1 of "One Million Star," a popular reality TV singing competition in Taiwan. Since then, his talent has earned him numerous accolades, including the Best Mandarin Male Singer award at the 2013 Golden Melody Awards.
