TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese singer and actress Vivian Hsu, along with Marco Polo Marine Group Chairman Li Yun-feng of the Singapore Office, confirmed their divorce on Sunday (Dec. 10) after nine years of marriage. They cited unresolved differences as the reason for their split.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and were once seen as having a loving relationship, decided on an amicable divorce agreement after facing challenges in their marriage. Factors contributing to their separation included the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced them into a long-distance relationship, along with personality differences.
Rumors about their marriage issues had circulated for some time, with speculation arising last September when Li did not send flowers to Hsu's concert at the Taipei Arena. Hsu had also hinted at her unhappiness in a recent social media post, leading to the unexpected end of their seemingly harmonious relationship.
