TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) vice presidential candidate Hsiao Bi-khim said on Tuesday (Dec. 5) that while Taiwan's economy has garnered international praise for its impressive growth, many citizens are yet to reap the benefits of this economic boom.
During a live interview with Bao Dao Radio, Hsiao highlighted the need for improved governance and fairer distribution of resources, echoing the expectations of the younger population.
She acknowledged the pressures faced by youth, including educational challenges, employment woes, and rising housing prices, emphasizing that no single solution could address these complex issues.
Hsiao also stressed that a multifaceted approach is critical to meeting the aspirations of the youth for housing justice and the nation's vision.
