TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan People's Party presidential candidate Ko Wen-je vowed on Sunday (Nov. 19) to persist in advancing Taiwan and to unite all possible forces to ease the people's hardships.
Addressing over 4,000 supporters at the Banqiao Stadium in New Taipei, Ko highlighted the unique nature of his party's base, noting, Unlike those of other parties, our supporters don't arrive on tour buses.
When questioned about a possible alliance with the Kuomintang (KMT), Ko emphasized the importance of democracy, stating that the nation's fate rests with its citizens.
Ko, reiterating his dedication to the presidential race, pledged unwavering commitment to his supporters, promising to fight relentlessly in the 54 days leading up to the election.
