TAIPEI (TVBS News) — American actress Tessa Thompson shared what it is like working with actor Michael B. Jordan in his directorial debut movie "Creed III" in a recent online interview with TVBS.
Thompson has been working with Jordan for eight years since the first two installments of the movie, and she said she "feel[s] incredibly proud of him."
"He made the process of making the film as good as the film itself," she said. Thompson describes Jordan as a "deeply collaborative" and "spirited" director. And some of these qualities are her favorite in a director.
"He is the kind of director that wants to make every single person on the crew feel valued and valuable," she continued.
Thompson said she learned a lot about boxing throughout the years of making the film. She shared that she had many chances to go to fights and found learning about the boxers and their stories fascinating.
Jordan, Thompson, and Jonathan Majors, the main actors and actress in Creed III, also play characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thompson said they have yet to talk about their connection that way.
"What feels interesting between me, Mike, and Jonathan, is just being a part of this generation of actors that can work across the medium in so many varied ways," she said.
