TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tesla was recently fined US$2.25 million in South Korea for not telling customers an important information about their car's batteries: Cold temperatures can sap electric car batteries, temporarily reducing their range, according to a study.
Luckily, the temperatures do not get as low in Taiwan, except on mountain tops.
Local Tesla drivers told local media that their batteries work fine during the winter.
