TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei Zoo's giant panda Tuan Tuan suffered another health scare on Thursday evening (Nov. 17) after being overcome by four seizures.
Zoo vets reportedly administered anti-seizure medicine to the panda which remains weak. A team stayed overnight to oversee any further complications.
The zoo reported that the panda had lost its appetite earlier that day and was lethargic. After last night's scare, officials reported that it has regained some strength though its hind legs are still quite weak.
Tuan Tuan's health condition is closely monitored after he was diagnosed with a brain lesion in September.
Fans of the giant panda have sent well wishes for a speedy recovery from all over the world.
