ASYS head expresses deep sorrow (TVBS News)
HSINCHU (TVBS News) — Li Chia-hao, chairman of ASYS Corporation, expressed profound sorrow on Monday (Oct. 23) following a major traffic accident involving the company's employees during a company outing.
Li pledged that the corporation would assist the injured and their families fully. The accident occurred last Saturday when a chartered bus carrying ASYS Corporation staff allegedly exceeded speed limits, resulting in 22 injuries and four fatalities.
Li stated that the corporation would proactively cooperate with the relevant authorities to investigate the cause of the accident. He aims to ensure fairness and justice for the victims, the deceased, and their families and called for the respect of personal privacy in all reporting.
In his closing remarks, Li expressed gratitude on behalf of all ASYS Corporation members, sending prayers for the recovery of the injured and the repose of the deceased. He expressed hope that they can overcome this tragedy by uniting during this challenging time.
