TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan's 112th National Day celebration on Tuesday (Oct. 10) showcased several (military) performances in front of the Presidential Office Building, commemorating the theme of "Democratic Taiwan, Resilient and Sustainable."
The National Day ceremony commenced with the Taipei Municipal Chien-Kuo High School Marching Band's lively performance. Subsequently, a collaborative performance by the Army Academy, the Special Forces Command, and the Ministry of National Defense's Art Performance Group followed suit.
In tandem with the Army Academy's Warriors Drum Team, the Special Forces Command demonstrated their close combat prowess, highlighting the national army's determination and capability to safeguard the country.
Making its National Day debut, the Art Performance Group enthralled the audience with their new song, "Follow Me," accompanied by six armed forces "mascots."
Immediately afterward, the Joint Military Marching Band and Tri-Service Honor Guard presented a series of war songs, characterized by intricate formation changes and exhibition drills, showcasing Taiwan's military precision.
