Founded by Taiwanese high school students Heidi Chen and Dorcas Hsu, Harmona recently organized a heartwarming outreach visit to Mái ấm Bé Thơ Orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The initiative brought together six international student volunteers from different countries, who shared Christmas music, companionship, and festive joy with 20 children at the orphanage.
Through music, singing, and interactive games, the young volunteers and the children spent meaningful moments together, forging genuine connections that transcended language and cultural barriers on the eve of the holiday season.

Mái ấm Bé Thơ Orphanage has long been dedicated to supporting underprivileged children by bringing together caring individuals and organizations to provide essential care and emotional support. Harmona aligns with this mission by delivering charitable initiatives through music and cultural engagement, including instrument donations and interactive activities designed to inspire and uplift children.
Despite differences in language, music proved to be a universal bridge. The children swayed to the melodies, held hands, and sang together, their happiness deeply touching every volunteer present. Through shared music and companionship, strong emotional bonds were formed across borders.
Co-founder Dorcas Hsu shared, “The children’s voices and laughter were incredibly moving. This event not only brought them joy, but also filled us with warmth and love.”
Co-founder Heidi Chen expressed gratitude for the opportunity to extend care to communities abroad, adding, “We are deeply thankful that international students from different countries could join us. Moving forward, we will continue using music as a way to provide companionship and care to even more children.”
