TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The National Palace Museum (國立故宮博物院), Taiwan's premier cultural institution, will host its annual "Night at the Museum" event on Dec. 13 starting at 6 p.m. The celebration features special access to 100th anniversary exhibitions alongside costume opportunities, performances, and interactive puzzle-solving.
The event marks the museum's centennial with three major exhibitions accompanied by musical and dance performances, according to the museum's press release. Organizers designed the program to appeal to visitors of all ages and backgrounds in this fifth annual nighttime opening since 2019.
Visitors can capture memories at a projection-based dynamic photo wall and vintage-style photo booth with customizable designs. These installations allow guests to pose alongside digital reproductions of ancient paintings and mythical figures from the museum's collection.
The museum has created interactive checkpoints throughout exhibition areas for visitors seeking additional engagement. Participants who complete challenges will receive stamped commemorative cards redeemable for exclusive gifts as part of the evening's adventure-themed activities.
