TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan's badminton men's doubles team Chiu Hsiang-chieh (邱相榤) and Wang Chi-lin (王齊麟), made a stunning comeback at the BWF Super 500 Kumamoto Masters on Thursday (Nov. 13). They overcame fellow Taiwanese duo Chen Cheng-kuan (陳政寬) and Lin Bing-wei (林秉偉) in the first round of the Kumamoto Masters. Despite losing the first game in their round of 16 match, they rallied to secure the next two games and achieve a remarkable turnaround, earning a spot in the quarterfinals.

Meanwhile,in the men's singles, Taiwan's top player, Chou Tien-chen (周天成), faced a setback. He lost to Thailand's Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul with scores of 19-21, 16-21.
